The HydraPen H3 is Dr. Pen's most capable home hydra pen, combining automated microneedling with simultaneous serum infusion to help active ingredients reach deeper layers of the skin rather than sitting on the surface. The result is more efficient absorption, visibly plumper-looking skin, and a spa-quality treatment you can perform on your own schedule.

How It Works

Fine needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin while the H3's built-in liquid delivery system infuses your chosen serum directly through the cartridge as you glide the device across the treatment area. Because the serum is delivered at the moment of needling, it bypasses the skin barrier rather than relying on passive diffusion.

Adjustable Depth & Speed

Needle depth adjusts between 0.25 mm, 0.5 mm, and 1.0 mm to suit different areas and sensitivity levels — shallower settings for delicate zones like under-eyes, deeper settings for areas like the cheeks or forehead where firming serums benefit from greater penetration. A 4-level digital motor ramps from 1,800 rpm to 7,000 rpm, letting you control treatment intensity precisely.

Needle Cartridges

The H3 is compatible with H12, HS Nano, and HR Nano tip types, all 30-gauge. The HS Nano and HR Nano tips are designed specifically for serum infusion channels, while H12 cartridges suit standard microneedling protocols. Cartridges are single-use and auto-contained — no manual needle handling required.

Wireless & Rechargeable

The H3 operates on a built-in rechargeable battery with automatic charging, housed in a lightweight aluminium body. No cords during treatment; charge between sessions.
