Dr. Pen Ultima A6S

Having only ever used a Derma roller before I decided to invest in a Dr Pen. I bought a A6S for medical micro needling and have now used it twice leaving a 28 day gap between needling. It is so much easier than a Derma roller and also more hygienic as the replacement cartridges are thrown away after each use. I purchased everything from Dr Pen Store ( Pen and extra replacement cartridges) They offered a fast delivery and kept me informed through email at all times. Very pleased !

What I like about this product that it's so great and works like miracle. I only used it once so far and I already saw a huge difference on my skin. I can't wait to see the result after using it every month for about 3 months or more. Also its so easy to use, it's almost as if I am giving my skin a facial massage. I am very pleased with the performance of this pen. I read several medical journal articles and watched Utube instructional videos before using it. The battery lasts at least as long as it took for me to microneedle my face, neck and chest. I used hyaluronic acid as my serum and also to prevent drag of the pen. I am really delighted with my purchase and look forward to watching my wrinkles and hyperpigmentation improve over the next few months. Please note that, I was not using it for acne scar or stretch mark improvement.

I've just had my first self-microneedling treatment and I'm really happy with the experience. The pen is really easy to use. The batteries (2) are already charged so you can use the pen straight away saving a lot of time. I've watched a lady on youtube that explains how the protocol back and forth. Very happy !!! The pen is really easy to use. Very recommended !!!

Bought two of these based on a friend's recommendation. Super easy to use. The battery lasted over 2 hours between charges which is more than great. Had a small issue with the battery charge light, but customer service helped with that and they very fast and helpful; the most responsive I've ever experienced with an Amazon vendor!

I watched several videos before using it and when it arrived I knew well how it worked. I use it at a low depth and get very good result to penetrate the serum product.

This product is super easy to use! Don’t listen to your facial lady telling you how you shouldn’t do it yourself because you might scar your face and that you should come see her instead and spend $300+ per treatment. Does THE SAME job and my dermatologist approved! Very happy with my purchase I do use numbing cream (numb 520) which makes it painless

Edit- the seller I bought the pen from did respond quickly by sending extra cartridges and referring me to some extremely helpful videos that gave me a ton of good information on how to correctly use this pen. When I need more product, I will definitely use this seller. This Microneedling pen came with no directions on how to use it. I looked up some YouTube videos and there were no directions for this particular version of this pen. It has made it difficult to want to use it. I have so many questions about!

Love this innovative pen! Definitely Esthetician approved here. The seller communicated promptly and fixed a minor issue I had when first receiving the pen. I purchased more nano needles and I also got a second pen because it’s that great. It’s easy to use, has a powerful motor, and I love that it can be used plugged in or wireless. It comes with two wireless batteries so you don’t have to be without.

This is the real deal. I've spent an entire year researching the different pens I could order and settled on this one and I'm glad I did. This is a very high quality device and I absolutely love the color even better than the device itself it the customer service. These cartridges are great for doing nano facials. They’re a perfect fit for the A6s pen.

Professional results at home and for much cheaper. one session of microneedling costs around £300 , so totally worth the purchase. The needles are very stable and can easily glide on the skin with enough hyaluronic acid . my Skin went red as I used it and it felt exactly how it did when i got it done at the clinic. I just like this product a lot because I can actually control the depth I want to go and I can go over one area more than once , unlike the clinic ..as they may use it very light handed just to get you to come back for more $e$$sion$ . Enough disposable tips are attached for a whole years worth of use before you need to restock on the tips - given that you do this every 4 weeks. So you will need to purchase another 12 or so tips which costs £17 - 25 per year. Definitely worth it compared to clinic prices.

This pen is super nice and you can control the depth easy. I really am happy I decided to buy it. I’m 46 and the first go at it, my skin is definitely improved. Looking forward to putting in a few more sessions over the next months. Oh I did use numbing cream beforehand and it wasn’t bad in the pain dept.

For something that is stabbing my face with 36 needles the pain is minimal. Waxing is way worse with pain. This is very well made easy to keep clean and comes in awesome colors. I defiantly be ordering the refills for the top. Ill circle back in a couple of months

The attached battery was broken, the other two work though so I won't be returning. Could have used better packaging a small box in a big box with no cushion is not ideal. Doesn't feel as powerful as the other Dr. Pens

I am so happy with this pen! I purchased it hoping that it would help to minimize a scar on my leg and to help ease some fine lines on my face. My scar is less noticeable... and appears to not be as thick and I've definitely noticed an improvement in the fine lines on my face and just an overall improvement in my complexion and color. Have had no problems with my pen at this point. I highly recommend!

This is my first experience with Dr Pen. I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. It feels really solid and heavy in the hand. Worked great.

I purchased the Dr.Pen after doing some research and reading numerous testimonials. I am so glad I did. First use, I was scared to death but the numbing cream and how to videos made it a breeze. It's very good if you have knowledge of how to use. But if you want to know how to use, you should read information about machine and cartridge (because it's important for type to skin). If you want better results use retinol (vitamin A), vitamin C, acid hyaluronic, or other substances that can be harmful to your body (I recommend use together). After de treatment of microneedling use oil for your skin and drink a lot of water. It's important to know that you can't be exposed to the sum, because you can damage your skin. You have to carefully and consider cleanliness and hygiene in the procedure. I'm a doctor if you have any questions you can ask me, and I will try to help you!

If you have ever spent the time doing/using a derma roller, you already know that the results can be iffy at best. This product give you even coverage, deeper penetration, and is much quicker than using a roller. We loved it so much, we bought two so each of us could have our own. (Best for sanitation reasons)

I had to pay taxes and shipping costs because I am from Germany and I can say: Yes! Definitely yes! The device looks great, the color is incredible, the processing is very good. The pen looks very valuable and works with a very quiet sound. Yesterday I had my first needle treatment with Dr. Pen A6s made. Impressive! What a device! I used the 16 super fine needles with a depth of 0.5 mm to treat the collagen build-up. Does it hurt? Not at all! No pain, absolutely bearable and I am very satisfied with the result ;)

Very quiet operation. Comes with 2 batteries for wireless use, and an adapter to charge them. My box was missing the 3 16needle cartridges but they send me a complete box within a couple of days. Comes in a very sturdy box with manual. I selected this equipment among others because it has no ridges on the speed control, and that comes a long way when desinfecting.

I'm an Aesthetic nurse and bought this to compare it to the dermapen I have previously used. It's very easy to use,works just like the more highly expensive ones! I absolutely love it and my clients are amazed. Here is a picture of my hubby, I tested it out on him before using it on my clients. After only one treatment he was amazed. Here is how to use it: double cleanse your face, apply topical numbing if needed, let it sit for about 25-30 min, wipe it off and dry the skin with some alcohol using a 4x4 gauze, now apply a gliding medium like hylarunoic acid or vitamin C serum into a small dish to prevent having to constantly touching your serum bottles and contaminating them, apply to one section at a time with a fan brush. Start off with the forehead and work your way down to the cheeks, chin, nose and decolletage area. If at any point your pen isn't gliding or catching on the skin add more serum, you're going to do circular, horizontal, vertical at every section and a stamping motions to the more deeper scarring areas. I use a .5mm on forehead, 1-2.5mm on cheeks, 1.5-2mm on chin, 1-1.5 on nose depending on the skin and scarring, then for stamping motions I do it on 2.5mm to only the deeper scarring areas,Pin point bleeding is normal avoid contamination by touching to many things while using the pen, please wear gloves even if it's on your own face. Remember to use a headband to keep your hair from falling onto your face. After you have completed the treatment, grab a damped esthetic gauze to wipe off residue and apply a cooling sheet mask to help calm the skin. Use the remainder of the hylarunoic acid or vit C serum in your dish to the entire face and neck pat it into the skin don't rub. Don't forget your SPF and avoid any harsh products on your face for the next couple days. Don't get impatient your skin can take up to a month after one treatment to see results. Take before and after pics for your own progress. Remember to use a gentle face wash for morning and night starting the next day, keep your skin hydrated meaning moisturize, or a nice repair oil, I love the herbal skin solutions Neroli repair oil. Use clean pillowcase and also feed your body some vitamin C &E, and or glucosamine too. I'm very big with internal and external healing when doing microneedling treatments to help with faster wound healing. I am also a Dermatology nurse so wound care is very important in my practice. I am in my 60s & have been seeing a Esthetician for awhile now. She works with alot of people, but her specialties are 40 & above. It is not so much the money for her, but that she CARES & skin talks to her, as she can read skin. I have had some needling done with her & set up with some great face creams/serums. I took this PEN in to her so she could look at it and explain to me how to use this. She Loved this Pen. However, she did explain to me the HOW to us it & HOW often, WHY & WHAT happens to our skin by using this procedure, in medical terms. Due to the fact that we are killing the skin..sort of speaking... the skin needs at least 4-6 weeks to do its Healing & Turnover. Of course first we numb it then add the serum. She also told me to run it up & down in areas first all over the face, then reapply the hyaluronic & go back & fourth. Then I must WAIT 4 WEEKS (because I had been doing this already) before using again. I like the pen. It has 3 battery's that you can charge, so you have them set up. It can be plug into the wall socket too. Very nice put together pen and I think it is going to hit out here soon for being one of the best pens around. I would like to share some settings with you that I got from my professional skin dr.(esthetician). She said keep the speed between 1-3 right now. Speed shows in the small window on pen. FOR SETTINGS...Forehead-(.25-.5) Under Eye-(.25) Cheekbone-(.25/.5) Upper Lip-(.25/.5) Crows feet- (.5) Cheek-(.75/1.0) Nose(.25) Chin-(.5). 2 passes once up&down & once back & fourth, applying new serum between each go. Wait 4-6weeks depending on your type of skin too. Some of these settings can be adjusted in time. I sure hope this helps someone out here in cyber space. This is the info I was looking for. Be Safe, micro-needling tooo much can cause the skin to harden because of damage done by overuse, before giving your skin time to heal. Hope this info helps!

Unlike most of the reviewers here, I'm male. I've started balding, so I've also started mitigating it with minoxidil (rogaine generic) and microneedling. I didn't want to mess with a needle roller (figured my results would be meh and may result in injuring myself), so I found out about these and decided (as with most of my purchasing decisions)... just look for the best reviews and the most expensive product and it will work out. I was right again! This thing is very well built and I have zero regrets. I bought some hyaluronic serum and some numbing cream and it's a great combo. I thought it would be more painful than it is, I actually think it makes my skin feel great as soon as I am done. I prefer to go "shallow" so I do the microneedling more often with no blood, a process I enjoy. Highly recommend it!

Great bit of kit

Have used the pen several times and very happy with it. Bought the nano tips also and use them once a week. The pen works beautifully and love having two batteries to charge or just run it off the power cord. I know this one isn't really out on videos yet, but I'm glad I went with it. Operation is no different than what is in videos for other dr.pens. really only unsure of the memory function. Don't know what that is about, but I'm sure in the next few months this pen will be talked about more. Bonus the color is beautiful.

I did a lot of research before I decided to buy the A6s model. I received the product quickly and have used the pen twice. Once with nano, and a needling session. So far everything is working well and I’m happy with the ease of use and how the pen handles. I like that I can use the pen wireless and plugged in. All in all, a great purchase.

Excellent product and not as painful as dermarolling. You’d wonder if the needles were actually doing their job, until you see your skin peeling and scars clearing up within days of using the pen. I use the pen in conjunction with a hyaluronic acid serum, followed up with vitamin c and niacinamide after my session. My skin has been a dream ever since.

This is by far my favorite micro needling device from Dr Pen. The options are great and the pen itself is lightweight but sturdy at the same time. I haven’t had any issues with the cartridges popping out like with other devices and the even though the batteries charge quickly I like having the wired option. All in all I am happy with my purchase and will continue to shop with this vendor.

I’ve had so many compliments it’s unbelievable!!! People ask where I had it done and hardly believe it when I say I did it!!! I used Advanced Clinical's HA serum while doing the treatment. Be sure your face is very clean and free from infection! You will notice slight discomfort but it’s very minimal. Your face will be pink to red the following 1-2 days so don’t touch or pick at it and be sure to keep it clean as possible! I didn’t use makeup for 3-4 days expect mascara and lipgloss. I’ve done 1 treatment so far and plan to do my next on Wednesday. I’ll post more photos after that heals. Definitely try this before spending the night bucks at the medspa ( no makeup)

This is a great little gadget, perfect for helping keep skin clear and lovely. I tried it and it was painful but not enough to put me off (i am heavily tattooed!) It works well and the instructions are easy to follow. It charges quickly and the charge lasts a good amount of time.

Smooth, sleek and easy to use device. Came sooner then anticipated, clean and well packaged. With that being said, I am a very tough critic who did very extensive research prior to purchasing, I and can only rave about the customer service that comes with this device. The seller is extremely diligent at responding via email and accommodating should there be any issues. The seller honoured the one warranty without hesitation, paid for express shipping and got me a new device once mine got a bit wonky after several uses. I really like it, it works really well and I like it because it comes in with a lot of needles. Whatever the subject of lights, light doesn't have all the colors it indicates, but how decorative it is, I don't care.

Does what it's supposed to. Top price-performance ratio. Very easy to deal with. The needles are sterile packed. You can adjust the depth and speed of the pen. Absolute buy recommendation. Scars have become less visible. i prefer to always combine with a good serum.

I use it once a month. I seen the results more in my hands and my chest ... Less wrinkles.

The Dr Pen Microneedling kit is amazing. Having both wireless and plug in makes it very easy and convenient. I was able to remove a birth mark on my leg about the size of a thumb print with dark pigmentation that has been a self image issue since I was a teenager. I bought Dr. Pen after I could not complete the purchase of another brand but I do not regret it, it works really well and it came in perfectly packed, the item is original and has a few cartridges included which is a big plus for me; the box contains 2 batteries, a charger, the pen and additional cartridges; great value for money if you want to do your own microneedling at the comfort of your own home and for a fraction of the price you would pay at a Spa or Beauty Treatments Salon; I use it with 99% aloe vera as sliding agent, others use HA, just make sure you do one area at the time so that you have time to microneedle properly and the sliding agent does not dry out too quickly before you are able to treat the area. I have seen great improvements on my face, it requires consistency and a good skin routine but also, your diet is important to clear your skin, incorporate collagen on your diet as this is important for returning elasticity to your face and diminish fine wrinkles.

Handy, comfortable to hold, great purchase

I was using the derma roller for about 5 years this is is really the next step, if you are still hesitant in purchasing this , don’t!! I really regret of not using this before . Start low at 0.25 with a nice gliding serum like a good HA serum. I feel it is alot more effective that my roller (as my face is alot more red after use, next morning all gone , tiny pinkish glow) Really love it , i just hope it will last a long time , i use the 16 needles (as I was already used to derma roller) Sunday nights will be my Dr Pen night !!

Absolutely no issues with the micro needling device. It's comfortable, intuitive use and quality made. The 2nd battery mine came with was DOA. I contacted the seller who shipped over a replacement. Overall, very impressed with both the product and the customer service. If you're on the fence about spending the additional cash over the Dr.Pen A6, don't be. I would highly recommend the product and would definitely buy again.

This Microneedle is the best inexpensive needle I have found. I love it and recommend it to all of my clients that want to Microneedle their own face!

I just finished my third round of using Dr. Pen on my face. I allow 4-6 weeks in between each one. Studies show that you need 5 rounds to really see results so I have a couple more rounds to go. I can tell you that the glow 4 days after using it each time is really incredible. Nothing compares! I also have a RF device and I think the results from Dr. Pen are better. I make my own hyaluronic acid serum from powder. Takes seconds to make (add distilled water to a bit of HA powder and mix well). I know it's fresh that way and works well with the device. I watched many videos before I tried it for the first time and highly recommend the Dr. Pen website for video tutorials. Very happy with this purchase.

Full instructions and can be recharged or used with the cord that can be use with a android battery charger, this is to me a very genuine company that you can check and scan on the side of the box before you open it .
